Just in time delivery-to help customers reduce inventory costs. Oberdorfer plans it’s production with reduced cycle times and increased manufacturing capacities. Limited disruption and consolidated vendors ensures efficient manufacturing of customer product.

Oberdorfer’s employees are trained in lean manufacturing and six sigma to improve its on time delivery, productivity, and quality in order to reduce manufacturing costs.

Oberdorfer utilizes statistical tools such as DMAIC methodology to eliminate process variability to provide better, lower cost castings to our customers

Value Added Operations

		The Rock Shell process (highly engineered trademark) kaizen event has increased flexibility & capacity while reducing floor space & labor by using a one piece flow concept of its sand cores. This continuous improvement process has increased its throughput yield from 85% to 97% and reduced non-value activities 30% to allow on time delivery to increase from 91% to 98%.
